Welcome to California Psychcare (CPC) in Santa Maria!  Nestled in the beautiful Santa Maria Valley, our branch of CPC offers a unique range of professionals who are committed to serving individuals with disabilities within our community. Ranging from Santa Maria and Cuyama to Lompoc, Solvang, and Santa Barbara, our well-trained staff provides clinically sound behavior intervention services in both English and Spanish. Our interventions are based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).  The behavior support staff in Santa Maria have embraced the treatment of best-practice in ABA, specifically the use of Functional Behavior Assessment in conjunction with an instructional method comprised of a hybrid of Verbal Behavior, Natural Environment Teaching, Discrete Trials Training, and Errorless Learning.  Most of our behavior training occurs in the homes of the children and adults served, but CPC also works with students in classrooms and community settings to promote consistency and skill generalization.

            In addition to providing intensive ABA intervention, the Santa Maria Branch of CPC offers training and direct supervision to agencies that practice Supported Living, Group Home Support, Mental Health Support, Adaptive Skills Training, and a number of other support services.  The Santa Maria Office offers monthly trainings in English and Spanish which are both free of charge and open to the community in order to provide direct support and guidance to families and other agencies.  Please feel free to join us or call if you have any questions or simply need more information.
